Earp Recognized by the Central Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (COIAAA)
Worthington Christian is proud to announce that Athletic Director Tony Earp has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Horizon Award by the Central Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (COIAAA). The Horizon Award is presented annually to an active athletic administrator within their first five years who has demonstrated exceptional professionalism, engagement, and impact within their school and conference.
Since arriving at Worthington Christian in 2023, Earp has quickly become a valued leader, making a meaningful impact on coaches, student-athletes, and the broader community. In collaboration with student-athletes and staff, he helped introduce The Warrior Athlete—a set of four core attributes that guide athletes in how they represent Christ both on and off the field: Focus, Connection, Perseverance, and Leadership. Most recently, he launched the Warrior Athlete-of-the-Month program, which highlights four student-athletes each month who exemplify one of these traits in their daily lives and athletic pursuits.
Dr. Mike Hayes, Worthington Christian’s Head of School, shared, “Tony has made a significant impact in our community during the two years he’s been in his role, helping us focus on our mission through athletics and living out the principles of servant leadership. We’re proud of this recognition for Tony’s contributions professionally and are fortunate he’s a key school leader at WC.”
Join us in congratulating Coach Earp!
