New Faculty and Staff: Tisha Nussbaum

Worthington Christian welcomes Tisha Nussbaum as WC’s Community Engagement Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Ashland University/University of Phoenix. Tisha comes to WC, having previously served as the Chief Development Officer for A Kid Again. She and her husband have been married for 2.5 years and have a blended family of six children. Tisha currently has two children enrolled at WC (Kamden- 6th, Kavion-9th), and her daughter Kadence will join her brothers at WC in the Fall (5th). Tisha and her family attend Potter’s House Church of God.

We asked our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Tisha!

What is the first job you ever had?
I worked in a golf clubhouse.

What is your favorite family tradition?
Christmas Eve service and dinner followed by opening one gift.

If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
Woodworking.

Who has the best pizza in Columbus?
Flyers Pizza.

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
Mr. Foster. I loved learning about history.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Don’t fear failure.
