Hosted by WC Counselors and Law Enforcement

With the internet’s vast opportunities come significant risks, making it imperative to stay informed about digital safety practices.

WC parents of students grades K-12 are invited to a presentation hosted by our WC Counselors and law enforcement officers with ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) Task Force on Wednesday, October 30, at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium of our K-2 building at the Lower School. Officers with ICAC will be on hand to present and discuss steps that parents can take to keep their children safe online. There will also be a Q&A portion of the program.

The presentation will include information such as:

  • What is a predator?
  • Types of abuse online.
  • Keeping children safe.
  • Guiding children to have appropriate behavior with their peers.

Information will be specific to parents, so please no children at this event.

Counselors will also be available with additional resources about healthy technology use.

No registration is required; we hope to see you there!
