Worthington Christian welcomes Lily Ferrier as an Educational Aide in the Upper School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Wittenberg University. Lily returns to WC, having previously served as an Intervention Specialist before going on staff with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ). She and her husband, Jake, have a 4-year-old, 3-year-old and almost 1-year-old, and their family attends Linworth Baptist Church.
We asked our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Lily!
What is something people might be surprised to find out about you?
I can play multiple instruments.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Growing up my siblings and I would receive three presents from my parents for Christmas to represent how Jesus received three presents when he was born.
If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
Either become fluent in a foreign language or learn how to play the piano proficiently.
Who has the best pizza in Columbus?
Donatos.
Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
My elementary music teacher because she introduced a whole new world and language to me!
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Don’t be so focused on the future that you miss the present.
