WC Welcomes OhioHealth Sports Psychologist, Dr. Todd Kays, on August 17
We are excited to welcome Dr. Todd Kays, Ohio Health Sports Psychologist, to speak to coaches, athletes, and parents on Sunday, August 17, at 6:30 in the Hogue Gym at the Upper School.
Sometimes an athlete’s toughest competition is their own mind. OhioHealth’s Sports Psychology Seminar with Dr. Kays teaches you how to train your mental muscle to work hard for you.
Shutting down your mental opposition takes more than “thinking like a winner.” Dr. Kays will be discussing how to overcome mental barriers and perform to maximum potential.
Dr. Kays is a nationally recognized sport and performance psychologist, co-author of Sport Psychology for Dummies, whose work has helped thousands of athletes—from major league professionals to collegiate teams—overcome mental barriers and excel in competition. With experience that includes serving as sport psychologist for the Columbus Crew, consulting for NFL, MLB, MLS, PGA, LPGA, and Ohio State University teams, and authoring multiple books, he has been featured by ESPN, FOX Sports, The New York Times, and the Golf Channel.
