Theatre students set to perform a heartfelt comedy on October 6 and 7
Under the leadership of award-winning Director David O’Roark, Worthington Christian’s theatre department is putting the finishing touches on the production “Trouble in Paradise Junction,” as they anticipate this weekend’s performances. This heartfelt comedy will hit the WC stage on Friday, October 6 (7 PM) and Saturday, October 7 (2 PM and 7 PM).
Everything is perfect in the small town of Paradise Junction. Everyone gets along, the sun always shines, and the tomatoes grow as large as beach balls. That is until the TV Network shows up to film a reality show there. With the promise of five million dollars and publicity that can turn small-town residents into stars, personal agendas threaten to tear the town apart. Will Joe Goode, owner of the Rise n’ Shine diner, be able to prevent the residents from destroying their beloved town on live television?
General admission tickets will be available at the door for $10.00. Worthington Christian students may attend for free. Performances will take place at the Worthington Christian School Auditorium in the K-2 Building of the Lower School at 6675 Worthington Galena Rd.
