New Faculty and Staff: Amber Bancroft

Worthington Christian welcomes Amber Bancroft as a Fifth-Grade Teacher in the Lower School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Childhood Education from Malone University and a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from Liberty University. Amber comes to WC having previously served as a High School Counselor at Reynoldsburg High School. She and her husband have two children, and their family attends Sunbury Christian Church.

We asked our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Amber!

What is something people might be surprised to find out about you?
I can sail!

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Paella.

If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
A new language… or ALL of the languages.

What makes a “good day” at school?
Connecting with students and staff members in an authentic way.

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
My ceramics teacher – she was incredibly patient and kind.

What is your favorite family tradition?
We go to a new ballpark every summer.
