As we begin a new school year, we want to take a moment to highlight a few new faces at WC, as well as some familiar faces stepping into new roles.

Worthington Christian is excited to welcome Andrea Hush as our Substitute Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from The Ohio State University. Andrea comes to us after serving as a Senior Cash Management Officer at JPMorgan Chase. Andrea and her husband have two children and are also WC parents, with a son in 8th grade.

We asked staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Andrea!

If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
Learning to drive a manual transmission car.

What’s something people might be surprised to find out about you?
I am a fan of roller coasters.

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
Mr. Matthews, my AP Calculus teacher. He made me feel confident that if a concept wasn’t understood at first, we would work it out together.

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Smoked pork, cornbake, and vinegar slaw.

What is your favorite family tradition?
Watching fireworks around the 4th of July.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Before you react, will it matter in a month? A year? A decade?

What is a passage of Scripture you turn to for encouragement?
1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
