We are pleased to announce that Chris Dayton has been appointed as Worthington Christian School’s Director of Finance and Operations, effective August 1. Chris brings a diverse background in finance, operations, and team leadership across ministry and corporate settings. He succeeds Randy Steckel, who will step down on July 31 to accept a similar role at Columbus Classical Academy.
Chris joins WC after serving as Executive Pastor at The Potter’s House Church of God, where he provided leadership in finance, operations, multi-campus logistics, staff development, and human resources. Under his leadership, the organization reduced expenses significantly over a four-year period. He also brings relevant experience from Verizon Wireless and Lee University, combining strategic insight with a team-first mindset.

Chris holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lee University. He, his wife (Bianca), and their three children are excited to join the WC community.
