Worthington Christian welcomes Grady Dalzell as the Ninth Grade Bible Teacher in the Upper School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from The Ohio State University, and a Master’s Degree in 7-12 ELA from Muskingum University. Grady previously served as the Area Director for Young Life in Delaware County. He and his wife, Taylor, have three young children, and they attend Ethos church.
We asked all of our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Grady!
What is your favorite family tradition?
Steaming blue crabs at Topsail Beach in NC with my family each summer.
What is the first job you ever had?
Helping my dad move pianos.
If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
General contracting.
What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Grilled steak tacos + pico!
What makes a “good day” at school?
Laughter and discovery with students, and connections with coworkers.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
If you try to build the ministry, you will kill the people. If you build up people, the ministry will take care of itself.
