We asked our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Amanda!

What is something people might be surprised to find out about you?
I enjoy learning new things, like juggling and sign language!

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Chicken with mashed potatoes and my grandma’s homemade rolls.

If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
To speak Spanish.

What makes a “good day” at school?
A good day at school is when students ask lots of questions and share their ideas with everyone.

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
Mrs. Edwards was my English Teacher and Creative Writing Teacher all throughout high school. She was the strictest teacher I ever had, but also the most amazing because she had such faith in all of us.

Listen twice as much as you speak – you’ll learn twice as much!

What is a passage of Scripture you turn to for encouragement?
Romans 8:37-39.
