New Faculty and Staff: Megan Sentelle

Worthington Christian welcomes Megan Sentelle as a Third Grade Teacher in the Lower School. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University. Megan comes to WC having previously served as a Kindergarten Teacher at Faith Life Academy. She recently got married to her husband, Nick, and they attend 614 Church.

We asked our new staff members several “getting to know you” questions; we hope you enjoy learning a bit more about Megan!

What is the first job you ever had?
I started babysitting at 12 years old.

What is your favorite family tradition?
When the youngest child in my family turns five, we go to Disney World!

If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
Any instrument.

What makes a “good day” at school?
Students leave feeling accomplished and knowing how loved they are.

Who was your favorite teacher in school, and why?
My second-grade teacher, because she had a warm and welcoming classroom… and gave us candy.

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Salmon and potatoes.

What is a passage of Scripture you turn to for encouragement?
Matthew 6:25-34.
