Worthington Christian welcomes Matt Liston as a Fifth Grade Teacher in our Lower School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Oral Roberts University and a Master’s Degree from Grace Theological Seminary. Matt comes to WC having previously served as Operations Director at Heritage Christian Church. Matt and his wife, Lori, are parents to four adult children, and they attend Heritage Christian Church.

What is the first job you ever had?
A paperboy for the Columbus Dispatch.

What is something people might be surprised to find out about you?
I like to bake birthday cakes for my friends.

If you could quickly and easily learn any new skill, what would it be?
Ride a hoverboard.

What makes a “good day” at school?
When everything is clicking and lightbulbs are turning on.

What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
Angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce and shrimp.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Life is a series of trade-offs, so choose wisely.
