A simple way to make a lasting impact—at no additional cost to you.
As the year draws to a close, now is the perfect time to plan ahead for your 2025 taxes and make a difference in the lives of WC students. Through the Ohio Christian Education Network’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO), you can support WC students while reducing your Ohio tax liability—without spending anything extra.
This unique program allows you to redirect tax dollars you already owe to the State of Ohio and instead use them to fund scholarships for WC students pursuing a Christ-centered education.
How Does It Work?
You can contribute up to $750 as an individual or $1,500 as a married couple filing jointly. Your contribution amount is then applied as a dollar-for-dollar credit on your Ohio tax return.
If your Ohio tax liability equals or exceeds your contribution, you’ll receive the full benefit of this credit.
Example
If your 2025 Ohio tax liability is $2,000 and you contribute $1,500 to the SGO for Worthington Christian School, your Ohio tax bill is reduced by $1,500—transforming what you owe into a scholarship gift.
Even if you typically receive a refund, your refund amount will increase by the amount of your SGO contribution. It’s truly a win-win.
Get Started Today
Visit the Ohio Christian Education Network’s SGO website to make your contribution and designate Worthington Christian School as the recipient.
Your redirected tax dollars will directly support student scholarships—helping more families access a Christ-centered education.
